Medicare and Medicaid are two separate, government-run programs. They are operated and funded by different parts of the government and primarily serve different groups.

If you have Medicare, the Medicare Premium Payment Program may be able to pay for some of the costs (for example, premiums, co-payments, or deductibles.)
This includes your part B premium of $164.90 per month for 2023

Medicare Part D provides drug coverage. The Extra Help program helps with the cost of your prescription drugs, like deductibles and copays. You can apply for Extra Help any time before or after you enroll in Part D.
